Saltwater/Seawater Lantern

Led Green lantern is LED lighting, which only needs to be filled with saltwater or seawater, to run the LED lights.
This lantern, requiring no dry batteries, or rechargeable batteries, or the sunlight, but enough to mix water and salt, or seawater, because the lantern will generate its own electricity to power the LED, whatever his situation can still be used.
To use it, just add of each cells (there are 2 cells) as much as 380 cc of water, mixed with salt as much as 18 grams (about 2 tablespoons), into a mixing bottle (available), then shake and pour into each cell (each cells filled with 1 bottle of saline solution), then we can use this lantern for about 8 hours. These lantern will continue to work, as long as the salt water is replaced every 8 hours, up to 100 hours before the magnesium rod must be replaced.

Inside there are two rods Magnesium (Mg-rod) which serves as the negative electrode (anode) and will slowly destroyed, which can be replaced after use for about 100 hours.
This lantern has also been with a USB port so you can recharge your mobile phone battery, but it can not perform the dual function at the same time, so you have to choose between the lighting or charging mobile phones.

How Green LED Lantern works
Green LED Lantern, applying fuel cell technology to generate DC electricity which is clean, environmentally friendly, no pollution, non-toxic, harmless and safe. No materials and components in the lantern which can cause a fire accident that makes the whole process very safe and harmless, even for children.
The fuel cell is an electric cell that generates electricity by absorbing oxygen in the air, where the salt water acts as the electrolyte in the cell, which uses Magnesium rod as the anode(-), and a sheet of carbon as a cathode(+), Magnesium rod will slowly oxidized exhausted by electrolysis as the magnesium ions travel to the the cathode, so continue to produce electricity.

It should be noted that the magnesium electrode should be cleaned after they have been used, as magnesium oxide can accumulate in the cells, which can cause cell damage.
Fuel cells are known to have a high energy density.
Each cell produces 1.6 V DC power, which are connected in series to 3.2 V DC, and enough to power 3 watt LED light with about 210 lumen lighting, lamp also features a USB port 4.5 V for the use of the mobile phone battery chargers.
